Last night we went out for dinner after a beautiful walk in the Guttuso exihbit (South Italian painter who lived in the 1900‘s) and we decided to try this small lovely place in the Monti district.
The staff is very friendly and they speak English very well. I love their menu: absolutely Italian but with some litlle changes which improve the flavors making the dinner a special moment.
We got the “Amatriciana” pasta (typical Roman reciepe based on a tomato sauce and bacon....delicious) in the “Broccoletti way” that is crispy bacon and aromatic vinegar: unforgettable.
They also have a wide choice of wines, mostly form the Roman region so tasting such wonderful local food with perfect local wine makes me feel even more proud of being Roman!
